Big black guys coming towards me

...imagine my surprise, I had checked into my hotel down here in sunny Düsseldorf, Germany ready to kick off a seminar when, like 15 HUGE black guys in sweatpants come towards me...what the hell IS this?*)

..turns out the, so called: "Rhein Fire" from NFL Europe are having a seminar of their own.

The weird thing is that this is pretty darn big here in Djööörmäni, they have cheer-leaders, huge pre-game shows and yes, OHH yes: a mascot...."His name?" I hear you ask....well: Bearnie of course, burn - fire, you get the idea. German humour, ya just CAN'T beat it.

And I thought that NFL investment died in the 90's...well, I guess not.
I have colleagues that have stayed at the same hotels as the soccer teams Chelsea and Barcelona whilst travelling, but I thought this was un-cooler and weirder. We're in an airpot hotel in the more boring "Tech-Park-burbs" of D-dorf, I mean WTF, right?

Does anyone outside the US know about these guys (they're basically all American)?
How are these players of the NFLE, that couldn't cut in the real NFL; as "good" as Collegeplayers.

Varför på engelska?
Tja, jag tog ett mail jag skrev till en kompis i USA precis, Varanen e trött nu, mkt trött. 20:45 på ett hotellrum i Düsseldorf, ätit fet room-service (Penne Alfredo och tomatsoppa) och ska snart kolla en DVD. Imorgon skall jag stå på scen och köra tre föreläsningar för kunder om "Telecom Operator Understanding" på en dag, skål!
